Productive weekend!

Don’t you just love to finish of the weekend by crossing off a load of things from the to do list? I really do 🙂
Friday I wrote a whole A4 list of things I had to get done, and although it is not all done a good chunk of it is!

I updated all my “design a doll” images and listed two new dolls on my Etsy shop.

Jenny is an arty person and loves reading, while Victoria is a ballet dancer and likes the colour pink!
In addition I also added the option to turn your own “designed your own doll” into a ballet dancer.
I also finished the special doll that was won in my giveaway and its on its way to Sophie and Lily tomorrow and when they receive it I shall post a picture for everyone else to see!

Lovely Valentines

I hope everyone had a lovely valentines day yesterday! I sure did! My lovely boyfriend got me lillies (my fav) and this lovely cake!

It is sponge with jam and custard in the middle! I was really surprised as he does not normally do gifts. 🙂
Sadly my gift for him had not arrived 🙁 I ordered this awesome tshirt for him from Etsy but it has to come from the USA so should be here in a couple more days.

I am off to my Dutch lessons this afternoon, I really feel I am learning more, but am a long way from speaking it!

And the winner is…..

Well the first winner was unlucky number 13, which was Angela from Sew loquacious, except it was a comment about the great giveaway but a shame she is from the USA (my next giveaway will be open to everyone!! promise!!)

So I re did mister random.org and the proper winner is….

Which is Sophie!! You forgot to leave a contact email in your comment so please contact me within the next 24 hours  to claim your free doll else I will draw a new winner from the comments.

Thanks to everyone who entered and check back to see what doll Sophie designs and for my next giveaway.

Felt and fabric boxes

I finished the box last night but couldn’t get a good photo because of lighting, so took one this morning.

I decided instead to store some of the accessories for my custom doll in my box instead of using it for my rabbits treats (she would not appreciate it!!). I just love it and managed to make it in just under 2 hours, so will look at ways I can speed it up a bit so I can sell it in my shop.

What do you think? What colours should I sell them in? What should I put on the front of them?
I am looking for a supplier of felt by the meter so I can make them a bit bigger than 10cm by 10cm.

Oh and don’t forget to enter my doll freebie if you haven’t already!! Only a few days left till I pick a winner!

Always in such a rush!!

Today I forgot to do something that I had meant to do since Tuesday!! As a special request I made two small fabric and felt boxes for a new baby gift. This was the first time and I didn’t even have a pattern (just a box made from paper that I was trying to copy). The boxes turned out wonderful!! But you will never know because I wrapped them up and sent them off without taking a photo!!
I am so gutted I am going to make another pink box for myself (to keep all the rabbit treats for Tulip in) and will take a photo tonight to show you all. And depending on how fast I can whip it up we will see if its suitable to be added to my web shop (if it takes 4 hours like the others then it wont make the shop because I can’t really sell them for €20).

Oh and don’t forget the custom handmade doll giveaway is still running until Monday, enter here!!
