Here is another flower to go with the one from yesteday!
You will need:
- Green felt
- Pretty fabric
- A wooden stick or metal wire
- Sewing needle & thread (or sewing machine)
- Scissors
- Pattern
- Print off and cut out the pattern above.
- Take your fabric and fold it in half (right sides together) and draw around the petal 6 times. Sew around the petals .
- Cut out your sewn petals, clip the corners and turn right way out.
- Cut 2 circles from your green felt and one long rectangle (as long as your wooden stick and 2cm wide).
- Taking your wooden stick or your metal wire wrap the long rectangle of green felt around it and do a running stitch around the edges (with extra stitch’s at the end so the stick doesn’t come out).
- Take one of the felt circles and pin the 6 flower petals around it, spacing them equally. Then pin the felt “stem” coming out the bottom.
- Pin the other circle on top and stitch around the edge of the circle securing all the flower petals and the stem between the two circles. You could make a whole bunch of these and put them in a vase!
